Activated carbon filters
ADSORPTION FILTERION
Adsorption (not to be confused with absorption) is a physical phenomenon where a surface attracts molecules and then traps them in its pores. This is achieved by using an adsorbent, such as activated carbon. Activated carbon, also known as “activated carbon” is obtained from carbonised wood or organic material. This carbonisation process makes the material porous. It then has the properties of an adsorbent.
CARTEK Filter, we market filters (air, cabin, liquid …) using the adsorption phenomenon. Questions about this technology? Please contact us!
